The Wonderland Tea Party — Balu Stories
A rushing rabbit leads Leo into a world where anything is possible and time has frozen at tea time!
Under the warm sun of a lazy afternoon, Leo was tracing the path of a curious ant through the grass when a White Rabbit in a waistcoat scurried past, checking a pocket watch. “I’m late! I’m late!” the rabbit cried and jumped into a large burrow.
Curious, Leo called for Luna and decided to follow. The burrow transformed into a colorful, gentle slide that led deep underground. At the bottom, Balu the bear was already waiting, wearing a very funny top hat. “Welcome to Wonderland, Leo!” Balu smiled. “But be careful—time has frozen at tea time!”
They found a long table covered in dancing teapots, but the Mad Hatter was frozen like a statue. To unfreeze the party, Leo had to solve a riddle left by the White Rabbit. The answer had everything to do with Leo’s favorite dinosaurs! Using his cleverness, Leo cracked the riddle, and everything sprang back to life.
Suddenly, the Queen of Hearts appeared. She wasn’t wicked, but she was very bossy. She was upset because her playing cards had fallen into a giant mess, blocking the way home. Leo acted fast! Using his power of flight, he zoomed through the air, catching the cards and arranging them into a beautiful, safe archway.
The Queen was so impressed she gave Leo a magic biscuit that tasted exactly like his favorite treat. Balu hugged Leo and said that the real wonder was a child’s imagination. In the blink of an eye, Leo and Luna were back in their garden, looking up at a cloud shaped exactly like a rabbit.
